Atlanta Wedding Photographers
Elizabeth and Travis were such a joy to work with, and we couldn’t have asked for a better couple. Their nerdy flare meshed with us and made their wedding so much fun! Atlanta Wedding Photographers
I can tell you from personal experience, that your wedding day is going to be busy; there is so much going on that you, as the bride, will not directly see. Even if you do, you may not remember the exact details. That is why it’s so important to hire wedding photographers who know what to do – even if you don’t directly tell them in your photography timelines. But even more important is having photographers who understand your style and you.
The Wright Wedding Experience.
Hi! My name is Elizabeth (Nafziger) Wright, and I was lucky enough to have Brian and Lindsey be my wedding photographers. My husband, Travis, and I got married on October 15th, 2016 at Covenant Life Church in Lawrenceville. It was a 2pm wedding with a cake and punch reception at the same location.
Initial Phone Call
My first interaction with Brain and Lindsey was our pre-wedding phone call to get acquainted and learn what sort of style / flair the wedding had. Right off the bat, we were having fun.You see, I didn’t want to through a wedding bouquet and garter at the wedding; instead, we decided to throw whales (okay, dolphin-whales) because of a running joke that Travis and I had. Brian immediately started coming up with fun ways to incorporate our love of whales into the wedding; while not all of the ideas were feasible (a giant paper-mache whale would have been lots of fun), they were a lot of fun to talk about, and we had some good ideas come from that conversation. In short, we found that we had a lot in common. We both loved nature and were goof-balls at heart.
The Big Day.
The day of our wedding was a blur. So much happens that you just can’t fully process everything. I’m so glad that Brian and Lindsey were there to help capture everything. From the moment they walked in, they fit right in with everyone. They immediately became friends with just about everyone.I’m not a photogenic person; posing just right, smiling just so – it isn’t my gift. I usually get uncomfortable around cameras. Brian and Lindsey made me at ease. How did they do it? They helped me focus on what really was important and encouraged me to have fun.Weddings are serious affairs but that doesn’t mean you can’t have fun!
Capturing The Perfect Moments
Having photos and videos of your wedding will help you look back and remember the details. Here are some of my favorite memories that I can now re-live.
Preparing to walk down the aisle.
A couple days after the wedding, I was talking with family about the wedding. My mom mentioned how she had gone to give me a hug and kiss while we were hiding out, waiting for everyone to be seated before the wedding. I didn’t remember it until I saw a picture of it.
Calming Nervous Nerves
Before going up to get in line for the wedding, I started to get really nervous. One of my favorite memories is of my friends coming around me and praying for me. It’s especially sweet, because I watched these two young women grow up.
Throwing the Whales
I’ve never been a fan of the tradition of throwing the bouquet or garter. So, I decided to do something more fun, and include everyone (unmarried and married). We took two stuff animal whales, put a bow tie on one and a veil on the other and threw them instead. Everyone had lots of fun.
Brian + Lindsey = Great Memories
They didn’t just capture great memories; they helped create those memories. They are honest, good, down-to-earth people who take amazing photos. I am very pleased with how my wedding photos turned out and my experience with them. I look forward to future opportunities to work with them!Sign Up
