Laura’s senior session was absolutely stunning. She had such a warmth and a grace that you don’t often see in someone so young, but we were able to capture it in a moment in time, and we are super pleased with the results.
Laura is a senior at Christian Life School in Kenosha, but lives right on the edge of the McDonald Woods Forest Preserve in Lindenhurst, IL. One of the things that she really enjoys doing is playing violin, so we incorporated that into our shoot.
She had such a soft, warm smile that it was a pleasure to take photos of, but at the same time, a faraway look that was captured beautifully. And honestly, who can resist a good belly laugh?
Laura is actually originally from South Korea and came over as an exchange student three years ago. We actually shot her adoptive sister, Laura Larson‘s senior photos a couple years ago, and so we already had a great connection with her family.
There is something about the simple beauty of the fall that we were able to capture, as well, and we really enjoyed being able to get these natural elements incorporated into our photos.
One of Laura’s other requests was that we bring cupcakes into the mix. She absolutely LOVES cupcakes, so we went with it, and got some pretty great photos to go along with them!
The elegant mixed with the fun made for some great photos, and definitely one of our favorite shoots of the year (although I feel like we say that every time we shoot!). Laura was a joy to be able to capture, and we hope you enjoy these images!
