Shannon and Casey Marble’s wedding was held on the grounds of the beautiful Trimborn Farm, an old lime factory and dairy farm turned public park and museum. We were able to use the barns and other historical buildings in the area, and the girls got ready in the old stables. All of the bridesmaids’ dresses were handmade by Shannon’s aunt, and each had a unique top to flatter the seven bridesmaids. The ceremony took place in front of a handmade paper backdrop that brought a bit of flair and color to the already beautiful surroundings.
On the back of each program, stick-on mustaches were included to bring some fun to the ceremony.Casey, the groom, wore bright green socks to match the colors included in their wedding.Shannon is normally quite a bit shorter than Casey, so she used a stool from her childhood home to even the playing field a bit. There were so many great places to take pictures on this farm! So many ways to incorporate the old and the new!One of the highlights of the evening was when we were able to stop by Shannon’s aunt’s house. She is a quadriplegic and was unable to attend the outdoor ceremony, so she sent her iPad with some family to capture what she wasn’t able to see. We were able to surprise her by showing up at her house and she was able to see the whole wedding party parade in front of her at her drained pool. Shannon and Casey jumped at the chance for a photo op inside of the pool! Their reception was held at the Lakefront Brewery, a local microbrewery that makes amazing craft beers. Two of my favorites are Fuel Cafe, a coffee beer (coffee and beer together?), and New Grist, one of the best tasting gluten free beers in the area! Everyone had a great time dancing and enjoying the evening. At the end of the night, we took Shannon and Casey out to get a few last shots with the bridges surrounding the brewery. Lindsey went behind them with the flash and then crouched down to get a backlit shot that made them really shine! Overall, we had an amazing time with them and were able to capture their day in a way that will last forever!
